Blue is an interiors trend which seems to be everywhere at the moment, but it’s not one that I’ve been in any rush to embrace (I find it hard to tear myself away from my deep-rooted affinity towards grey!). That was until I saw the spring 2015 collection from Rowen & Wren, which is packed with textiles in deliciously stormy shades of petrol and navy.

I’ve always loved the pared-down elegance of Rowen & Wren’s beautifully curated ranges, and the new collection is no different. The clean lines and natural textures of the various pieces instantly caught my eye, and their versatility means it would be easy to incorporate them into existing schemes (including my beloved grey).

I particularly like the table linens, which would look equally good against rustic wood or raw industrial finishes such as concrete. And as a side note, how pretty are the little plant-filled eggshells used to style these images? A fantastic idea for spring celebrations.

The range also includes plenty of hand-forged brass accessories, all of which provide a wonderful contrast with the moody colours. Top of my list is this carafe and tumbler set – very simple yet very striking.

There are lots of other beautiful products in the collection, including light fittings, vases and plates – just head over to Rowen & Wren to see them all.
