Fancy heading off to a sun-drenched Italian villa? I certainly do – and although we might not be able to travel very far in person at the moment, we can enjoy a virtual visit thanks to these dreamy images from Tine K Home. They were actually released earlier this year to showcase the Danish brand’s spring-summer 2020 collection, but I’ve been saving them until I needed a dose of escapism and Vitamin D. A dreary Monday morning seemed like the right time!

Styled and photographed at Casa Olivi, an old farmhouse in the region of Le Marche that’s available to rent, they encapsulate slow, summer days and lazy indoor-outdoor living. The setting, amid a sea of undulating fields and olive groves, is stunning, and the building itself is just as beautiful. It was renovated with help from Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron, and I love the contrast between the rough stones, the soaring beamed ceilings, the polished concrete floors and the contemporary white-rendered internal walls. It’s a wonderful backdrop for a collection that mixes clean lines, earthy colours and natural materials such as bamboo, rattan, wood and stoneware, and the overall look is elegant yet relaxed. The simple linen sofas, low-slung pine lounge chairs and circular metal coffee tables in particular caught my eye, and they’re finished off perfectly with tactile lighting, tableware, cushions and throws.

I’m not going to say any more as I want to let the images speak for themselves, but this really is rustic minimalism at its very best…
